Beamish Young Quilters Club is run by Kate Elston and has been set up by Beamish Museum and the Quilters Guild to give young people the opportunity to learn new skills and be creative with textiles. All Young Quilter members also receive a regional newsletter with YQ event listings. If there are no YQ events in your area, why not ask your teacher if your class could do a craft project at school? Show them the YQ Projects on the website for ideas!
