YQ Group Quilts at the Festival of Quilts 2015
Well done to all those involved in creating the group quilts this year! Blackminster Middle School (Region 11) created the fantastic '75th Anniversary Quilt' which you can see below. Every child in the school contributed towards this quilt, so over 300 students took part! Congratulations for this wonderful achievement. Scrap Happy Young Quilters in Region 3 were very creative and made 'Bloomin Marvellous' which you an see below. Well done! Region 8's Young Quilters created 'Sue Bonnet Sue'. Katie and Rachel were part of this group and you can see them next to the quilt in the photo to the right. They also enjoyed attending a YQ workshop at the festival!
