Interview with Emily Booth at Festival of Quilts
While making a patchwork postcard at one of the Young Quilter workshops at this year's Festival of Quilts, Emily took the time to share a bit about the quilt she entered in the 'Transport' competition. She found the patterns for foundation piecing on the internet and then designed the top two blocks herself. Emily used free machine quilting and stitch in the ditch quilting techniques. Her mother and grandmother had also entered pieces in the Festival of Quilts this year. It was a treat to meet three talented generations of quilters all together at the Festival!
