Fundraising for YQs - join the YQ 100 Club!
The Quilters’ Guild of the British Isles has set up a 100 Club to support our important work with Young Quilters – the future of patchwork and quilting in the years to come. We are inviting Guild members to help to support our work with Young Quilters by contributing £10 per month, payable by standing order, to the 100 Club. On the last Friday of each month three winning numbers will be drawn by a visitor to the Quilt Museum and Gallery.
When we achieve 100 members, the first prize will be £300 with two runners up prizes of £100, a total of £500. The remaining £500 raised every month - £6,000 in the year – will be used for our work with young people. Until we reach the 100 member mark, prizes will be awarded on a proportional basis, with 50% of the income always being returned in prizes.
So if you are passionate about encouraging young people to take up the craft, have a little money to spare each month and would like the chance to win a generous cash prize we are looking for you – just think of all the extra stash you could buy!! Why not form a syndicate with your quilt group?
