Festival of Quilts Virtual Competition! Need help photographing your quilt?
We are sad to announce that The Festival of Quilts has been postponed until 2021 because of the Coronavirus. The next festival will take place 29 July – 1 August 2021.
Even though the festival cannot go ahead this year, the competitions can! Take part in an exciting virtual competition, the theme for the Young Quilter/Embroiderer category is ‘Reuse, Reduce, Recycle, Rethink’. Judging will take place remotely from photographs. The age categories are 5-9, 10–13 and 14–18 yrs. 1st Prize in each age group will win £150. Shortlisted quilts will feature in a one-off Festival of Quilts magazine in September 2020.
