Exploring Heritage in Region 10
This is the 'Pilgrim Father's' quilt created in Region 10, it has 33 blocks and explores the regions history over the past 400 years. YQs created one of the blocks - look closer and you will see the hat!
Region 10's history is linked to the USA - William Brewster who was a Pilgrim, from Scrooby in Nottinghamshire, sailed there on the Mayflower ship in 1620. A Pilgrim was a person who traveled to a sacred place for religious reasons. The quilt has been gifted to the living history museum in Massachusetts by Radio Nottingham when they visited in September.
