Young Quilters Challenge
The Young Quilters’ Challenge this year is ‘Myths and Legends’ and is open to all Young Quilters. Use your imagination and have fun to design and construct a quilted item up to 60cm (24”) in size in a technique of your choice and send by 29 March 2013 to: Hilary Jackson, 78 Loughborough Road, West Bridgeford, Nottingham, NG2 7JJ. Note change of address for delivery of entries.

Saturday workshop - ‘All Buttoned Up’ (am) and ‘Fantasy Forest’ (pm)
6 April 10.00 – 15.00
‘All Buttoned Up’: make machine-stitched strippy patchwork to create two or three useful wall pockets to hold your treasures – then join them together with buttons.
‘Fantasy Forest’: let your imagination go wild to create an appliqué wall hanging embellished with buttons, beads and sequins.
Sunday workshop-‘Up, Up and Away’
7 April 9.30 - 12.00
Construct a fun door hanger in the shape of a hot-air balloon, to receive
messages from friends and family.
