Black History Month!
Youngish Quilters are celebrating Black History Month throughout October! This is a great opportunity for us to recognise and appreciate the incredible achievements black communities have made to the quilting world. To give you a taster, expect to read about Gee’s Bend, The Social Justice Sewing Academy, quilt maker Harriet Powers and there’ll even be some creative projects for you to try at home.
